Tyndale Christian School Nature Play

In 2023 we were invited to extend the nature play area for Tyndale Christian School. The design contains a range of elements including sand pits, climbing frames, dry creek beds, cubbies and water play. The design encourages unstructured, open-ended outdoor activities with natural materials and abundant native planting. The play equipment is constructed to develop Physical skills such as balance, core strength, spatial awareness, and gross motor coordination. Risk Management principles are included to allow children to self-assess heights and navigate uneven, non-uniform surfaces safely. Creative Play elements functions as an open canvas that children can transform into forts, obstacle courses, or imaginary landscapes. Construction by the team at Betterlands. Betterlands have helped us with quite a few Nature playgrounds over the years and consistently provide state of the art outcomes. We are really grateful for all their help and expertise.
